I really wasn’t happy with the outfitting on this. The seat and straps felt flimsy, like I was constantly having to mess with them just to get comfortable. After only a couple trips, it was already getting annoying, and uncomfortable. For the price, I expected a lot better. I wouldn’t buy it again.

I tried dealing with a warranty issue and it just kind of went in circles. It took a while before anyone got back to me, and when they did, the replies felt generic, like they didn’t really read what I wrote. Maybe they were busy or something, but I still had to keep explaining the same problem over and over, which got old fast. For what these kayaks cost, I figured the support would be a lot smoother. The kayak itself might be fine, but the whole support experience left a bad taste, so I’m not sure I’d buy from them again

When the kayak first arrived, I was excited because it looked great right out of the box. But after just a few trips, that excitement faded fast. The plastic started feeling kind of cheap and developed these odd dents that I really didn’t expect so soon. A few of the fittings also didn’t seem to sit properly, which was frustrating because I kept wanting to like it. For the price, I thought it would feel a lot sturdier and hold up better. I’m not angry exactly, just really let down.

So... I really wanted to like this Jackson kayak, but I just couldn’t seem to get the fit dialed in no matter what I tried.

The seat and foot brace adjustments felt a lot more fiddly than I expected. I kept stopping to tweak things, and even after that, my hips and knees were sore after a short paddle.

I’m sure it probably works great for some people, but for me the adjustability didn’t really solve the comfort issue. I felt like I was messing with the boat more than actually enjoying being on the water, which was disappointing for the price.

I was really hoping this kayak would feel smoother, but it just didn’t have much glide for me on flat water. To be fair, I may have picked a bad day to try it out because the conditions and timing weren’t exactly ideal, but I still felt like I had to paddle constantly just to keep up. Overall, I came away disappointed.

I picked up a Jackson kayak thinking it would be great for weekend fishing trips, but the storage has been a letdown. The hatches are small and awkward to use, and trying to squeeze in a dry bag or extra gear feels like way more hassle than it should be.
It’s probably fine if you’re just going out for a short paddle, but for the price I expected a lot more usable space. I kept having to strap stuff on top, which got old fast, especially after already waiting forever in the queue to get help at the shop. Overall, disappointing.

I was really hoping these accessories would work out, but they just didn’t fit my kayak. I can’t exactly say what I expected, but it felt disappointing right away. Definitely not what I was hoping for

In the end, I was frustrated with it. The rudder kept sticking on me, and the steering just felt completely off the whole time. It made everything way more annoying than it should’ve been.

I’m still waiting for my order and haven’t gotten any updates at all. From the lack of communication, I’m guessing it hasn’t even shipped yet, which is frustrating.

I was annoyed when my order showed up with the wrong item, especially because I know I double checked everything before I paid. It wasn’t just a small mix-up either, I was expecting the kayak gear I actually ordered, not something I couldn’t use.

When I reached out, the whole conversation felt more frustrating than helpful. From the tone of the replies, it didn’t really seem like they were taking the mistake seriously, and I ended up having to explain the same issue more than once.

At that point, it just felt like a waste of time. I don’t think I’d order from them again unless they get a lot better about checking orders before shipping them out

I sent a message and still haven’t gotten any reply. It’s really frustrating just waiting around with no update.

Well... I only took my Jackson kayak out a few weekends before I noticed cracks starting around the seat area. I really expected it to hold up better than that. Dealing with the warranty process was slow too, so overall I’m not very happy with the experience.

The kayak itself is solid, and compared to a lot of the cheaper ones I’ve seen other people using, it definitely feels like a step up. My only real complaint is the seat. It’s comfortable enough for the first hour or so, but after that my lower back starts feeling it. It’s not awful, just not quite as supportive as I was hoping for on longer paddles

I didn’t feel comfortable using this. It was wobbly the whole time and felt tippy, like I was constantly trying not to lose my balance. I also felt kind of passed around when trying to get help with it, which just made the whole experience more frustrating.

The kayak arrived with a few scratches on it, which was disappointing. I guess it happened during shipping... the packaging just seemed a bit too thin for something this big. It’s still usable and I’m going to keep it, but yeah, kind of annoying to see damage right out of the box.

The website was okay overall. I was able to find most of the kayak info I was looking for, so it did the job, but I expected the experience to feel a bit smoother. A few pages loaded slower than I’d like, and some sections felt kind of cluttered. Using the product filters on my phone also wasn’t as clear as I thought it would be. It’s not a bad site by any means, but with some cleanup it could be much better.

I needed a few replacement parts, and it was kind of a mixed bag. A couple were easy enough to track down, but others took way longer than I expected. I could be wrong, but it almost feels like they don’t keep the less common parts stocked very well. Not a terrible experience, just a bit frustrating when you’re waiting around.

I don’t know if something changed, but setting this up was way more frustrating than I expected. It feels like it used to be more straightforward, and this time the instructions were kind of lacking. I spent way too long trying to figure out basic steps, so the whole setup ended up being a pain...

I checked out jacksonkayak.com thinking I might find a decent deal, but the prices caught me off guard. Some of the kayaks and even parts were way more expensive than I expected, and it just didn’t feel reasonable for regular buyers. On top of that, the reminder emails/pop-ups felt aggressive, like I was being pushed to buy before I was ready. I ended up browsing other sites instead
